3 days trekking for Medium level hikers

Imagine- your feet on a wild mountain trail breathing in fresh oxygen and beauty that come in the form of views, sounds and smells.. walking through the majesty of the wild mountain lakes and grandiose landscape when, after a long day outside you sleep in a secluded and authentic mountain hut?

Welcome to 3 day trekking and nature experience in the Zermatt, Switzerland- Valais. Due to its iconic Matterhorn mountain, local culture and stunning views, Zermatt is among the most beautiful hiking and outdoor life destinations in Switzerland.

Designed for the medium level hikers and anyone who would like to discover mountain in a safe but wild environment. Every day you will hike for 4-5 hours with a stable pace, taking time for being, immersing into incredible views and enjoying group spirit.

We will stay in the magnificent and authentic Swiss mountain huts in the middle of the nature wilderness. Each cabin is different and authentic in its own way.

DAY 1: ZERMATT – Trift
Altitude difference : + 800 m
Altitude difference : - 200 m
KM: 6 km
Walking Time: 3 hours
We meet in Zermatt at 10:00, walk through the town to take start our trek leaving the civilization behind.

DAY 2: Trift – Hobalm - Schönbielhütte
Altitude difference +: + 800 m
Altitude difference -: - 400 m
KM: 10 km
Timing: 4 hours
DAY 3: Schönbielhütte - ZERMATT
Altitude difference +: + 200 m
Altitude difference -: - 1200 m
KM: 11 km
Timing: 4 hours
The 1st place to stay- is Trift Berghotel, situated at 2,337 metres. Here you will sleep in the double rooms.
You climb up from the wild and romantic Trift Valley witnessing wild flora to reach this mountain inn, with incredible panoramas of the Zermatt mountain world from Wysshorn, Platthorn and Mettelhorn. The very best of nature!
The 2d place to stay- is Schönbielhütte, situated at 2700m a.s.l. Here you will sleep in the dorms.
Since 1875 Schönbielhütte it has been the starting point for wonderful high alpine tours. Haute Route, Haute Route Impériale and Tour du Ciel are the names of the interesting stages lasting several days. Surrounded by 4000m peaks such as the Matterhorn, Dent Blanche, Dent d'Hérens or Obergabelhorn, the hut is the starting point for breathtaking routes. You will be able to witness wild nature, glaciers and Matterhorn form a different point of view during this trek.

What is included in the price?
​
Professional services by a qualified mountain leader
All meals during the trek (breakfast, lunch, dinner, except lunch on day 1). All meals will be made in the mountain huts- mostly local and high quality products.
​
Carefully prepared routes and program
Accommodation during the trek: in an authentic high-quality mountain cabins. Night 1 you will stay in a double rooms, night 2 you will sleep in the high altitude mountain hut in the dorms.
