Nature Connection Practices
Nature is the best healer. Nature never judges. Nature accepts you the way you are. Through nature immersion practices you get to come home to yourself and nature. Come home - and thrive.
During retreat you will get to know
Forest Therapy (japanese Shinrin Yoku). It is an art of connecting with nature with your senses.
It's a research based framework for supporting healing and wellbeing through immersion in forests and other natural environments. Experience this practice in the forest and in the mountains.
You will also practice an EcoNidra- a way to relax in Nature.
Yoga & Meditation Practices
Yoga is union and connection. Yoga allows you to connect to yourself on all levels, to let experiences and emotions flow through you and find freedom within.
We will practice energizing pranayama (breathing) exercises in the morning and will tone our bodies in Vinyasa flows. In the evening you will get to relax - through Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra you will learn to soften into your body & life and find peace in any situation. You will experience the power of breath, the power of movement and the power of using your mind to create what you want - and thrive.
Every yoga experience level is welcome. Yoga is not about how flexible or advanced you are - it is about your experience and finding connection to your body and yourself.
A retreat is always a co-creation. You can bring the whole of yourself and your life to this retreat and connect to like-minded women on this journey. We will celebrate mid-summer together and above all - we will celebrate you & life. We will dance, laugh and share real life together. We will chant & sing. Everything is welcome and ok in this space of full acceptance, because with accpetance comes space - space to thrive.

Ruta did her first hike back in 2013- she then realized that the real life is not happening in the indoor- office environment but rather outside.
This made her realize that she was missing something important in her life- connection with Nature. Since then, most of her time she spends outside- climbing, hiking, wild camping, walking in the forests, parks and other natural places. She has become hiking ‚guru‘ and is now passionate to share the most beautiful places in the Swiss Alps with the others. Retreat participants often say that Ruta's passion for Nature is contagious.
Ruta is a professional mountain leader ( Association of Mountain Guides in Switzerland), neuro-coach (Neuroleadership Institute, London), and forest therapy guide (Association of Nature and Forest Therapy, USA).
By creating Be Outside Coaching movement, she has connected her 2 major passions: activities outside and human development. Be Outside Coaching delivers immersive and holistic Nature experiences in the different corners of pristine the Swiss Alps.

In March 2020, Selin's path of seeking brought her to a yoga teacher training in India. She had been practicing yoga and meditation on and off since 2015 and loved the calming effect it had on her mind. During that program, she realized that she had only ever touched the surface.
By peeling off layer after layer of expectations, perfection, doubts, ego, and numbing; she was able to go much deeper. What she found was the enough-ness and acceptance she always tried to find on the outside. What she found was more clarity and real freedom to just be – to be the whole of herself.
Transformed by this experience she founded “Happy Habits with Selin” and started creating experiences that would help other people to find freedom within. In her work she connects movement with inner work all the whilst being immersed in nature.
Your Home for this week
Anako Lodge - a unique place where history meets comfort
ANAKO LODGE consists of different 400 years old mountain huts that have been beautifully renovated on the inside allowing you all the comfort that helps you settle in and feel at home immediately. On the outside of the barns the historical look has been preserved.
Your home is a secluded & magical place in the middle of nature and with beautiful 360 views on the surrounding mountains. The lodge will be completely private for our group. To relax you can sip a coffee, lose yourself in a good book or immerse yourself in the warmth of the hotpot.
Val d’Hérens - an off the beaten track valley
Discover stunning valleys, pristine mountain flora & fauna and blue mountain lakes. Immerse yourself in nature and find space, so much space to relax & just be.
Ruta will show you hidden gems & corners of the valley and take you on the favorite trails of the locals.
